Conran Design Group has recently become Havas’ flagship brand & design network and is rapidly expanding, with new offices opening in Dubai and Mexico City. To help drive CDG’s expansion, we’re hiring a Senior Communications Strategist.
As Senior Communications Strategist, you’ll lead the development and execution of holistic communications strategies that align with our clients’ brand objectives. You’ll focus mainly on owned-channel communications, where our clients can best own their narrative, for projects that build brand trust and brand equity, communicating to multiple stakeholders. This is a role that requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how to unite various communication touchpoints into a cohesive brand voice.

Main duties of role:
- Act as the strategic lead for clients, crafting and delivering owned-channel communication strategies that build brand trust, equity and stakeholder engagement.
- Actively participate in pitches by providing foundational desk research into the opportunity and formulating this research into points of view and provocations.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor in clients’ brand and corporate communications.
- Conduct detailed audience analysis to ensure communication strategies resonate with target stakeholders and align with brand objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (e.g. digital, creative, media, PR) to drive integrated communication solutions that stem from your strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and insights to proactively advise clients on emerging opportunities for brand storytelling.
- Provide strategic support for sustainability communications, integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) narratives into brand messaging.
- Support or lead workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams, sharing expertise on effective communication strategies.
- Drive innovation by exploring new owned-channel opportunities to enhance client visibility and engagement.

Relevant experience:
- A minimum of four years’ experience in brand or corporate communications.
- A proven track record of developing and executing multi-channel communication strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Experience managing senior client relationships and providing high-level strategic counsel.
- Strong experience with sustainability communications and corporate responsibility initiatives is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams, including PR, content and digital specialists, to execute integrated communications strategies.
