Conran scoops gold!

Five gongs at the Corporate & Financial Awards 2018

1 October 2018

Conran Design Group’s work with Intertek on its annual report was awarded gold at the Corporate & Financial Awards 2018.

This achievement recognises Conran Design’s excellence in communication strategies and design.

The Corporate & Financial Awards benchmark communications in the corporate and financial space, an area of business that continues to grow year-on-year. Held at the historic De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, in central London, the 2018 event welcomed delegates from a variety of companies and agencies, all vying for the coveted prizes on offer.

Matt Forde, comedian, broadcaster and podcaster, was on-hand to present the evening’s proceedings. Matt led the celebrations, while a variety of guest presenters announced the winners of 24 categories, ranging from ‘Best printed report: FTSE 100,’ to ‘Best management of corporate & financial media relations.’ The recipients of the evening’s most coveted awards, ‘Annual report of the year,’ ‘Best small IR agency or PR consultancy’ and ‘Best IR agency or PR consultancy,’ were granted to the largest provider of purpose-built student accommodation in the UK, IQ Student Accommodation with MerchantCantos, independent financial, corporate and digital communications agency, EM, and reputation and communication consultancy, Lansons, respectively.

Andrew Thomas, Communicate magazine, said, “The quality of the 2018 shortlist and winners meant the competition stepped up another gear from previous years. Over 50% of the FTSE100 entered this year’s Corporate & Financial Awards highlighting how important financial media relations and corporate communications are to the City and its influencers – the Corporate & Financial Awards continue to demonstrate the importance of benchmarking these achievements.”

Conran Design Group scooped:
Best FTSE 100 annual report: Intertek (Gold)
Best FTSE 250 report: Inmarsat (Silver)
Best corporate website FTSE 100: Glencore (Silver)
