Despite its strong heritage of quality design and innovation, sales of Ideal Standard’s luxury Italian bathroom brand Sottini were in decline as the brand failed to adapt to a highly competitive market. Needing to powerfully reconnect with its audience and boost sales, we were commissioned to reposition the Sottini brand for the future.
We developed a new positioning, ‘Simply Imagine’, referencing innovative design and aspirational luxury. Beautifully brought to life across a range of touchpoints, the emphasis is on imaginative and unexpected ideas, supported by minimal yet engaging graphics. For Sottini’s all-important exhibition spaces and high-end retail showrooms, we developed compelling and luxurious experiences that encourage discovery, interaction and emotional connection.
Relaunched in the UK at leading trade fair 100% Design, Sottini instantly reconnected with its key audience of designers, retailers, architects and specifiers. The refreshed positioning achieved immediate uplift in exhibition footfall and website page views, leading to a 200% increase in sales. Once again synonymous with quality and innovation in design, the Sottini brand is now leading the way in luxury bathroom style.
